The Heretaunga Players are bringing you four stories by Alan Bennett from BBC Television series of 1987.  The Players production features their very own stars - Sylvia Lawer as Doris, Ella Kahu as Irene, Ian Gladding as Graham and Judy Sheridan as Muriel.

These stories, and their characters will have you laughing, sighing, maybe even crying, definitely thinking about life in general and some lives in particular.  You will be entertained, amused and moved.

Alan Bennett is an acclaimed British actor and writer of plays, television and film scripts, among them 'Objects of Affection', 'Forty Years On', 'Habeas Corpus' and 'The Madness of King George'.
