Late Nite Fridays 2022 presents

Friday 14 January | 5pm - 8pm

After 20 years living abroad Duncan brings an international vision to his music drawing on experiences in London, Lima and Paris. Featuring the Tui award-winning Umar Zakaria on bass, this will be a evening of top-flight musicianship and compelling improvisation.

There is a fleetness of touch in the musicians' performances that makes the music seem to take flight. The result is a mysteriously beautiful composition that I never wanted to end.

This is what it’s all about if you ask me – these guys are the real deal and this honestly was the best night of live jazz I have seen in god knows how long!
